Here’s what you get:
A Q&A so you can prepare your brief for me and check you’ve got everything lined up to hand over.
A discovery call before the big day on Zoom so we get time together to check what you want is manageable for us both.
A full 6 hours of my time with you with no other clients in the diary on that day.
One week of support with me by email after your VIP Day in case you have any queries and priority booking for future bookings.

What can you do in a VIP Design Day?
Here’s some examples of what can be done in one day
How about marketing material for your project? Promote a new service or product quickly.
Updates or new pages on a Squarespace website. Content loading and image sourcing for your blog?
If you have an image and edited copy, and know the spine width, how about the start of a full book cover?
Here's how it works!
One
Book your slot. I only have 2 VIP days each month so it’s good to get in touch as soon as you can. I will let you know what’s available and we’ll confirm the date. Once your payment comes through you’ll be sent an email with all the details of how your VIP Design Day will work.
Two
The week before. You’ll be sent a questionnaire where you’ll share your design brief and gain access to the secure Dubsado portal. You will have a Google Drive folder for your copy, logos, images etc.
Three
On the day. You get 6 hours of me, exclusive. I’ll keep in touch throughout the day to get your feedback and make sure we’re headed in the right direction.

Who are these days good for?
VIP Design Days will be a good fit for you if:
You need something completed quickly
You will have the edited copy and images ready by the day
You love my style of work
You have a vision for your project and a good grasp of your brand mission, target audience and industry, and need an expert designer to execute your ideas visually.
You are comfortable with Squarespace.
Who isn’t a good fit?
VIP Design Days won't be a good fit for you if:
You aren't on Squarespace (if we're working on a website project - I’m still testing out WordPress for a VIP Design Day, and will reveal when it’s ready to my newsletter subscribers and social media followers)
You don't already have some branding in place (e.g. colours, logo, fonts) or brand guidelines
You don't know what you need, in which case let’s chat
You want a full custom 5-8 page website or E-commerce website (a bespoke website would be better)
You're looking for a full branding project or brand strategy
You need a full newsletter or book creating (I can get some of the pages complete but a full book is very unlikely).
What isn’t included?
Domain and hosting fees
Email and troubleshooting
Custom code features
Editing, proofreading or other non-design services that I would usually sub-contract to a trusted supplier
Extra extensions that may take more than a day to produce.
What happens if the internet goes off or you’re ill? Or I’m ill?
Some things are beyond our control. Service providers for the internet are one of them and so is illness. In the event of these things happening or something else that means one of us has to cancel then as much notice as possible is appreciated., ideally more than 24 hours. Your fee will be refunded if we can’t agree on another date.
What if my text and images aren’t ready?
If you don't have your website content ready by the time of our design day, then I'll still create those pages or content areas and fill them in with filler text (also called Lorem Ipsum text). You can go in afterwards and fill in the correct text.
For print it becomes more problematic. I’ll go ahead with Lorem Ipsum and placeholder images from Unsplash. I’ll supply the design files and PDF files to you at the end of our VIP Design Day . Once our day is over, we'll have a week to fine tune any finishing touches. This doesn't include adding any extra content, resetting new text that wasn’t read at the start of the VIP Design Day or features that weren't discussed prior to starting, that’s extra and charged at an hourly rate or you can book in a half day or full day of design. For economy, I recommend moving your VIP day as soon as you can.
You’ll have a full set of VIP Design Day terms and conditions before you sign the contract but the important point is that you need to be ready and the earlier you tell me if there’s a problem, the better we can solve it.
I’m not in the UK, can I still book a VIP Design Day?
Absolutely! Most of my clients are virtual so depending on your time zone, we'll work out the best time for our calls and reviews.
Do I need any tools or software?
If you’re proofing print based work then it’s good to know how to mark up in free Acrobat Reader. Here’s a tutorial from Adobe. You can also use the Annotations button in Preview on a Mac. It’s much quicker to work this way then send back mark up by Word. And it’s useful to know the differences between colour to avoid any confusion. There’s more on my Tips and Tricks article. I can show you solutions if I have them but this is deducted from the time so you may want to avoid this.

brand design intensive:
a simple logo suite, colour and font selections, icons, brand style guide + graphic templates.
print design intensive:
if you have your images and edited copy ready, I could create a book page template in Indesign, a leaflet, a 4 page brochure or set of business cards.
landing page design intensive:
create a new sales page, or update and redesign a current sales page (short/medium length) for your offer that’s beautifully designed to convert! (longer pages may need additional day).
web design intensive:
hand over the copy and I can re-design, refresh or create a brand new website with a strategic design that makes your brand shine! (1-3 pages in a day, 4-6 pages in two days).
maybe you need content designed as a PDF and inserted into your website, a new landing page or a combination of all of the above?
How do I get the best from the time?
It’s important to note, when you book a VIP Design Day , you’re booking me for the time, not a set of deliverables. The nature of a VIP Design Day is efficiency. I am good at what I do and I’ve created a streamlined and efficient system that allows us to achieve maximum results in minimum time. Results are heavily on dependent on my clients having ALL pre-work completed before the VIP Design Day starts and being available to provide feedback quickly during the time.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
If your plans change, you may rebook up to one week before your VIP Design Day without any additional fees. You must re-book your VIP Design Day within 30 days of your originally booked date.
Is it really 6 hours?
Yes, I typically will start on your work at 8am.
