I am passionate about design

When I was at school, I won a Blue Peter badge for drawing. I went to a careers presentation on being a graphic designer and claimed my vocation.

Since then I have graduated in design education including a Masters in Graphic Design and Typography.

Put simply, I’m passionate about good design and believe everyone should have access to the power and appeal of accessible, font-lead design.

I have created work for The National Trust, Teenage Cancer Trust, United Parcels Service, Pearson, John Wiley, Macmillian and Penguin. I’m equally enthused by adding design sparkle to small businesses, sole traders and writers.

Let’s start with Berenice

Berenice (she/her)
My name is of Greek origin—there are several ways to say it, and none are wrong. I go with Ber-a-niece.

Based in central Cambridge, I'm often found on the East Norfolk coast with Lady Molly Lickalot (Molly), my 13-year-old rescue dog, searching for hag stones and picking up plastic as part of Paws on Plastic.

Creatively, my interests include lino printing, urban sketching, and photography. I'm especially drawn to ghost signs and fonts found in the wild, and everyday design that often goes unnoticed.

You're very welcome to follow along on Instagram and BlueSky for behind-the-scenes glimpses into my process, projects, and discoveries.

I’m also a co-director of the Full Stop CIC and co-founder/presenter of the Full Stop podcast.
